A New Year with APT-RMC

It’s 2016 and APT-RMC would like to start the year off right!

First, some quick housekeeping. Please take a look through our member directory from 2015 and let us know if you would like to change or update any information about yourself. Much of this information is most likely the same from years ago, and we want to make sure we have it right!

You will see the member directory has some red highlighted items. These were specifically identified as potential people to check for updates. So if all looks well with your info, a quick e-mail to our website administrator will help us get through these edits quickly and get the directory up to date for the year.

NEXT, the APT-RMC board has been talking about how we can increase the usefulness and connectivity of our organization. As many of us know, APT-RMC encompasses Colorado, Wyoming, Utah, Montana and New Mexico. With this spread of members, the board was thinking a great first step in increasing our connectivity with members throughout our region would be to post about member projects.

If you have a project you are working on that you’d like to share, please send a brief write-up and some images to the website administrator and we will get them posted. This should be a great way to share unique things that members are finding or special preservation challenges. The hope is that members will add comments. So this could be a great forum if you are working on something and want help with a particular question. One of the benefits of being part of the Chapter should be the ability to share knowledge and celebrate preservation successes. So submit your projects today!

Lastly, at our next board meeting APT-RMC is hoping to find other ways to increase connectivity within the group. If you have thoughts or ideas, please send them along.
