RMC-APT member tour in Central City – October 23
On Friday, October 23rd, RMC-APT will be hosting a private members-only tour of the Teller House, Williams Stables, and the Belvidere Theater in Central City, Colorado. The Teller House was constructed c. 1872 and was once an opulent hotel, now home to the Central City Opera offices. Across the street from Teller House is the Williams Stables, constructed c. 1876, which is undergoing rehabilitation thanks to a grant from the State Historical Fund. The Belvidere Theater, listed on Colorado Preservation, Inc.’s Endangered Places list, was constructed c. 1875 and is also undergoing rehabilitation.
Where: Meet at 1:30pm at the Teller House, 120 Eureka St, Central City, CO
When: The tour will be from 1:30pm to 3:30pm, starting at the Teller House, moving across the street to Williams Stables, followed by a short walk to the Belvidere Theater. The tour will be followed by a networking happy hour at the Dostal Alley Brewpub.
Who: Tour speakers will include staff from Form+Works Architects, the Colorado State Historical Fund, the Central City Opera, and Central City’s Main Street Manager.
