2026 is off to an exciting start! We had a blast catching up with you during the Saving Places Conference and RMC-APT Happy Hour this year in Denver! To continue the fun, here are a couple of upcoming events you won’t want to miss!

Come See How it’s all made at a RMC-APT Led General Shale Brick & Building Materials Plant Tour

  • Join us for an overview of the General Shale followed by a tour of their plant.
  • Details
    • WHEN: Two separate tour options
      • Wednesday, April 15th at 9:30 am
      • Friday, April 24th at 9:30 am
    • WHERE: General Shale Brick & Building Materials at 1845 W Dartmouth Ave, Denver, CO 80110
    • WHAT: Overview of the company and a tour of the plant.
    • Please note that attendance is capped at 10 individuals and we will confirm your attendance via email approximately a week before the event.
    • PPE (hard hat, glasses, and vests), pants, and close-toed shoes are required.
    • RSVP: Please fill out this RSVP form by Wednesday, April 8th for the April 15th tour or by Friday, April 17th for the April 24th tour

  • Congrats to Docomomo US/Colorado on South Dahlia Lane being listed on the National Register of Historic Places!
    • Docomomo US/Colorado is ecstatic to announce that the South Dahlia Lane neighborhood was officially listed on the National Register of Historic Places as of December 12, 2025.
    • This achievement is the culmination of a three-year effort to recognize the unique history and vision of one of Colorado’s Mid-Century Modern neighborhoods designed by Eugene Sternberg. This success was made possible through collaboration between residents, Docomomo US/Colorado, and History Colorado.
